Jason Huebner

Christian Challenge Director, Emporia State University

Jason has served as the director of Christian Challenge at Emporia State University for the past 20 years. He never would have imagined being a ministry leader when he stepped on to campus as a loud, confused, lonely freshman. As a freshman, he needed a community and spiritual guidance—Christian Challenge provided those things for him. Now he loves getting to offer those things to students every day. His wife, Lisa, keeps him humble with her wisdom and grace. He thinks his kids (Olivia, Annalie and Sam) are the best around, with tons of diverse skills and talents. He loves rock music (the louder the better), drinking coffee, reading, and giving his dog rides around town in his old pick up.

Robbie Nutter

Christian Challenge Director, Kansas State University

Robbie Nutter has served as the Christian Challenge director at Kansas State University since 2013, as well as the Church Forward Christian Challenge director since 2020. He has been working with university students for 27 years and still loves it! He has been married to his wife, Gail, for 26 years and they have three children. He is a native Kansan who grew up fishing, hunting, playing baseball, and basketball—and he still enjoys all of those things. In fact, the only thing negative he can think of about working with students is that the busiest times of the year happen to also be the best fishing seasons.

David Manner

Executive Director, Church Forward

David Manner has served for 24 years in various roles at Church Forward and began serving as Executive Director in 2020. Prior to serving with Church Forward, he served for 20 years as a worship pastor. David grew up in Oklahoma but has served in ministry the last 37 years in Kansas. He loves serving churches, propelling leaders, and maximizing partnerships across Kansas and Nebraska. He is married to Karen, and they have one daughter, a son-in-law, and a two-year-old grandson. David is also a life-long Chicago Cubs fan even when they only win the world series every 108 years.
